We are seeking a Content & Marketing Lead to work alongside our Founder in shaping and executing the marketing vision of the business. This is a highly collaborative role that blends strategy, creativity, community and execution, offering the opportunity to play a key part in the continued evolution of the brand.

This is not simply a content creation position. It is a holistic marketing role designed for someone who understands how content, customer experience, events, community and commercial outcomes work together to build a successful brand.

The Role

As Content & Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing Lesser’s marketing activity across all channels.

Working closely with the Founder, you will help develop quarterly marketing plans, campaign concepts, launch strategies and customer engagement initiatives, while leading the day-to-day execution of content, email marketing, social media, activations and community-building efforts.

A key part of this role involves maintaining a strong connection to our clients and boutique environment. We believe the most effective marketing stems from a genuine understanding of our customer, and as such, this position includes regular involvement within the store and participation in client-facing experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Planning

• Collaborate with the Founder to develop and execute quarterly marketing calendars
• Assist in planning seasonal campaigns, launches and brand initiatives
• Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness, customer acquisition and retention
• Coordinate and execute marketing projects from concept through to completion
• Monitor performance and provide recommendations for ongoing improvement

Content Creation & Storytelling

• Plan, create and publish content across social media platforms
• Capture photography and video content in-store, on location and during events
• Develop content that reflects the Lesser aesthetic, values and point of view
• Assist with campaign shoots, creative direction and content planning
• Write and edit marketing copy across digital channels

Email Marketing & Customer Communication

• Create and schedule EDM campaigns
• Support customer retention and loyalty initiatives
• Develop communications for launches, events and VIP experiences
• Ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints

Community & Brand Activations

• Assist in the planning and execution of events, launches and in-store activations
• Build meaningful relationships with clients and members of the Lesser community
• Support partnership opportunities and collaborative initiatives
• Identify new ways to strengthen engagement both online and in person

Client Experience & Boutique Engagement

• Maintain a strong understanding of the customer journey and in-store experience
• Spend regular time within the boutique engaging with clients and supporting the retail team
• Gather customer insights and feedback to inform marketing decisions
• Assist during key launches, events and peak trading periods where required

About You

You are both strategic and creative, with the ability to think beyond individual pieces of content and understand the bigger picture of brand building.

You are naturally curious about people, culture, fashion and customer behaviour, and enjoy bringing ideas to life through thoughtful execution.

You may have experience in marketing, content creation, communications, fashion, retail or a related field, however we value initiative, taste and commercial awareness just as highly as formal experience.

You will likely:

About the role

As a Lesser Store Boutique Stylist, you will support the delivery of an elevated and personal client experience while contributing to the daily rhythm of the boutique. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming and refined environment, assisting clients with confidence, care, and attention to detail.

This role will:

• Support meaningful client relationships through genuine connection, attentiveness, and thoughtful styling assistance.
• Contribute to boutique sales performance while maintaining an intentional and service-led approach.
• Assist the team in upholding high standards of presentation, product knowledge, and client experience.
• Support daily boutique operations, ensuring the space reflects the standards and atmosphere of the Lesser brand.

The ideal candidate

• Previous experience in a retail or fashion setting preferred.
• Brings warmth, professionalism, and a thoughtful approach to client interactions.
